End User License Agreement

1. App Purpose

Codex Accounting Assistant is a private local software tool used to connect Codex to QuickBooks Online through the Intuit API. The app is intended for use only by the account owner or authorized users acting under the account owner's direction.

2. License

You may use this app for your own internal accounting workflows. You may not resell, sublicense, or represent this app as an official Intuit, QuickBooks, or OpenAI product.

3. User Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing all accounting actions before relying on them. This includes customer creation, invoice creation, item selection, amounts, dates, tax treatment, and any other financial records created or read through the app.

4. QuickBooks Access

The app accesses QuickBooks Online only after you authorize it through Intuit OAuth. You may revoke access through your Intuit or QuickBooks account settings.

5. No Professional Advice

The app does not provide legal, tax, bookkeeping, audit, or accounting advice. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions that depend on financial, tax, or regulatory interpretation.

6. No Warranty

The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Use of the app is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business-loss damages arising from use of the app.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
